A Martial Art For Everyone
We at Cardiff Sho-Bu-Kan are offering a four week adult beginners Aikido course.
Aikido is non-competitive by nature and it’s many benefits include fitness, flexibility, wellbeing and self defence.
These introductory classes will offer an insight into martial arts training and will be conducted in a friendly and open manner.
Each class lasts only one hour and takes place between 7:30pm - 8:30pm in the Heath Room at the YMCA Plasnewydd.
The YMCA is undergoing a major refurbishment, but there is free parking 2 minutes away on the Parade.
The entire course costs £15 and covers temporary insurance as well as the classes on Friday 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March.
You will be led through the beginners course by Cardiff Sho-Bu-Kan Aikido Club instructor Russell Milton 4th Dan (Aikikai Foundation, Tokyo) along with other qualified instructors from our club.
Bring something loose to wear. Any loose fitting clothes (e.g. shorts, shirt, tracksuit) will do.
